“SHE FINDS OUT ON HER THIRTEENTH BIRTHDAY SHE HAS THESE SECRET POWERS AND STOPPING TIME IS ONE OF THEM. SHE’D BRING HER FINGERS TOGETHER LIKE THIS AND EVERYTHING WOULD FREEZE. I THINK ABOUT THAT SHOW SOMETIMES WHEN I’M WITH MAREK, WHEN I’M SO HAPPY I WISH I COULD JUST STOP EVERYTHING. STAY LIKE IT…FOREVER.”
Till the Stars Come Down is a powerful, funny and deeply moving family drama set over the course of a wedding in a working-class community. As loved ones gather to celebrate, long-held secrets, simmering tensions and divided loyalties begin to surface, turning a joyful occasion into a heartfelt exploration of love, identity and belonging. Rich with warmth, humour and emotional honesty, this acclaimed play captures the complexities of family life and asks what holds us together when everything threatens to pull us apart.
